To be honest, Indians and Discounts = Lehenga and Choli of coutures.
We Indians have become so used to discounts that we have started leading a discounted life. Less education, less to eat, less electricity, less accessibility to water.
The entire globe believes that India is a 'poor' country, well to be honest, India is not a poor country at all, the kind of luxury and welcome (aao-bhagat, swagatsatkaar) that happens in India, would not have been a common practice if India was a poor country from the beginning.
I simply have two point a views to put forth and after that we can all decide for ourselves if India really is a poor country.
Without forgetting the population trends that it is high at the most developed areas of the world - which in my understanding india was several thousand years ago.
And If we were a poor country from the beginning, then why were we plundered so many times again and again??
So, just to clarify it is not our poor state of wealth that we are called poor in the world platform, it is a ill mental health.
Seriously, the other day I learnt that a new passenger train with world class amenities was launched for the convenience of the Indian population and the super quickly this image came up floating on the internet.
To be honest, I am baffled because I personally wouldn't have done any of it, I am sure none of the people I know would have or would want to steal headphones from a train or from anywhere as a matter of fact, so are these people?
The psyched to know that Indians can keep a train clean for more than 24 hours for the keeping the nation clean.
It is my genuine request, To make a better India, a better world, we need to educate ourselves and become more honest and sincere towards our own people and things.
We never take the opportunity and later crib about 'roti kapada and malayan' (food, clothes and shelter)
If you have more such stories please share your experience, maybe this would somewhere help in making a better society.
