Honeypreet was married to Vishwas Gupta in 1999, who hails from a very reputable family.
Vishwas's family had been a firm supporter of Guru Ram Rahim Singh. Vishwas and honey preet were married in so called 'babas' ashram. One day Vishwas entered the den and saw his wife, Honeypreet and Baba in an objectionable position. When he intimated his family members of this act and revealed this to media, Baba's henchmen 'assured' that no harm reached Honeypreet by mentally harssing her husband's family.
